Couldn't find much to trade today, so just a couple of charts.
WFC (gap down)
After gap down, some choppy action, but the 3rd bar is weak inverted hammer which bounces off ema and closes below the OR. This is our trigger.
Entry: 29.34 Stop: 29.75
Fib Ext: 28.90
1R=28.93 2R=28.52 3R=28.11
Candle after entry was promising, but that was as far as we went. The rest of the day we just go sideways and close at end of day for break even.
AMLN (gap down)
The first candle is green but with upper wick. Then we trend down with the ema and narrowing candles. The 5th is red and closes below the OR. The 6th is NR3 which stays below the OR. The 7th is also weak, it bounces down from the ema and the OR and also closes weak itself. This is our trigger for a short.
Entry: 28.66 Stop: 29.08
Fib Ext: 28.06
1R=28.24 2R=27.82 3R=27.40
After entry we go sideways for a few candles before falling nicely with the ema. We take partial profits at the Fib Ext and close rest at end of day. About a 1.5R gain, so not too bad.
