Another treadmill day, but got some better results today.
ACH (gap up)
First two candles off previous day's high, then we recover nicely. The 4th is bullish, breaks the OR and closes strong off the ema. This is our trigger for long entry.
Entry: 22.04 Stop: 21.67
Fib Ext: 22.43
1R=22.41 2R=22.78 3R=23.15
Promised much initially, but then just drifted sideways for rest of day, not going anywhere. We close at end of day for a minor loss.
CSX (gap up)
First candle bullish and we retrace and recover above the OR. The 8th is a pullback inside bar and NR7 and NR3. This is our long trigger.
Entry: 62.41 Stop: 62.09
Fib Ext: 63.38
1R=62.73 2R=63.05 3R=63.37
Never really got going and it came back to stop us out for a loss. In hindsight, perhaps not the best signal. Could have been closer to ema.
DRYS (gap up)
After a gap up, it just simply trends with the ema very nicely. So just looking for some sort of pullback , IB NR bar type entry. The 10th is nicely bullish and continues the trend. The 12th is NR7 green inverted hammer like close to ema and is our long trigger.
I placed stop below the whole number, the low of previous candle.
Entry: 78.56 Stop: 77.95
Fib Ext: 79.28
1R=79.17 2R=79.78 3R=80.39
It's a bit of a slow grind, but it chugs away nicely up the ema and we close towards end of day for around 2R as the $80 level was always going to be difficult.
OI (gap up)
Green first then trends up nice with ema inside the OR. The 7th is bullish green and breaks the OR and closes strong off the ema. This is our long trigger.

Promised much initially, but then just drifted sideways for rest of day, not going anywhere. We close at end of day for breakeven.
SGR (gap down)
Red and weak first two candles are followed by strong reversal back into OR. We then hit resistance and start to head back down again with ema. The 10th is red weak and confirms OR as resistance. This is our short trigger.
Entry: 51.95 Stop: 52.48
Fib Ext: 50.80
1R=51.42 2R=50.89 3R=50.36
The price moves down nicely with ema and we take partial at 2R which is also near Fib Ext and also a 1$ gain. The rest is closed at end of day, also around the same level. A nice gainer.

nice trading... you've been really active this week. I thought CSX was gonna go batshit crazy. I entered off a break of the 2 bar high (:15) and then managed off the 3-min which got me chopped up.

Yes, saw your CSX trade as well. In hindsight, I perhaps should have looked more closely at the 4th candle on 15min, that was a much better entry, but I missed it.
It has been more active this week. Part of this is due to fact that I am trying not to be too cautious this month. Just hope I don't go too much the other way and go batshit crazy ...lol.
