Hey AM,

great trading my friend! Seems like this is going to be one of the better months ... hope it will continue like this ;-)

I wonder how you scan for your stocks? How do you find your stocks to watch during the day? Have you ever done some research as to implement TraderJamies/Trader X's fibonacci extensions (especially 138,2%) from ORH to PDL or ORL to PDH? Maybe this could add to your overall profitability?! Just an idea :-)

BTW ... are you on twitter?

I wrote a scan to catch these fall thru stocks. Other than price what other filters do you use for your TS scan ?

Thanks

Answers to your questions are on right hand side of my blog under strategy posts. But in short > Use Tradestation for scanning and Yes I do use the Fib ext, that is the core to my strategy already.

Twitter > Not on there.

Price opens inside prev day range and closes outside (on 1st 15min candle). Average daily volume > 1 Million. Volume on 1st candle around 150k or greater.

That is pretty much the same filters I have. Then I go through the charts and keep the better looking ones. Sometimes there are a lot of results, I am thinking about adding a filter depending on the first candle characteristics.
