Just the one trade today.
AXP (gap up)
The first candle breaks thru the previous day's high and holds it. The 3rd and 4th candles test this as support and hold it. The 4th is strong green off previous day's high and breaks thru the OR and closes strong. This is our long trigger.
Entry: 46.27 Stop: 45.57
Fib Ext: 46.84
1R= 46.97 2R=47.67 3R=48.37
The candle after entry is promising as it holds the OR. Then we trend up with the ema. We take partial at the Fib Ext (just below the 1R) and leave the rest to run. Unfortunately it didn't follow thru past the whole number and we close the rest of our position at breakeven.
Overall, not much to trade today. The one stock which did work was BOBE. I was in fact watching it and was mulling over an entry after the 4th candle. The ema distance made me think twice, but then it just jumped forward and rose quickly so didn't give me a chance to get on board.
